Know Your Regulator: Termination for Cause (Hybrid)

The Kansas Department of Insurance and the Kansas Association of Insurance Agents (KAIA) have partnered to provide a free CE series focused on the different functions of the Department.

This “Know Your Regulator” CE series will feature Department staff members presenting on topics specific to various divisions within the Department. Each session will provide a free, one-hour CE credit for producers.

Session 6: Termination for Cause

Producers may not have committed an insurance crime or been charged criminally, but that doesn’t mean they are out of the waters when bad acts occur. Learn the responsibilities an insurance company when they terminate a producer for cause, and the process the KDOI takes when alerted by the company.  Hear real cases investigated by the KDOI and their outcomes.
